Dear SRD364 2011 student.
You are invited to participate in our survey relating to your engagement in Facebook and social networks for the SRD364 2011 unit. In this survey, all students enrolled in the unit in 2011 will be invited to complete a survey relating to various aspects of social networking within the third year design studio, with a particular focus on the SRD364 FaceBook group for the Hong Kong tower project. The survey contains nine questions and will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point by simply closing the browser window.
The data derived from this survey will enhance current research into the social network virtual design studio for academic publications. A secondary outcome of this survey will be the enhancement of future iterations of the SRD364 unit.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your responses will be coded, will not contain any reference to your identity, and remain confidential. Survey results will be stored securely at the School of Architecture and Building for a period of five years.
